
3 Quick and Easy Protein Shakes
I have 3 quick and easy protein shakes to share with you that are absolutely perfect if you're a busy woman who's on-the-go all the time but still wants to eat healthy. These recipes are gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan and Paleo friendly. Oh, and they're all 5 ingredients or less!
Let's face it. Most women struggle with getting enough protein in their diet. They know they need more but don't want to eat big portions of meat and poultry all the time or several eggs every day. And if you're vegetarian then you know it can be tough getting the right amount of protein in from plant-based foods.
Fortunately, I've created these 3 recipes using my absolute favorite plant-based protein powder by Plant Fusion to help everyone. I've been using it myself for more than 2 years and still have yet to find something else that beats it.
A lot of plant-based protein powders are gritty in texture and don't taste very good. But Plant Fusion is a super fine powder and the Cookies N' Cream flavor is my favorite. Chocolate flavor coming in as a close second. Vanilla isn't bad either! You can find Plant Fusion protein powder on Amazon here.
Try blending up one of these deliciously healthy protein smoothies and it'll help you tremendously with getting more protein in your diet. It's super quick to do and it's seriously one of the easiest ways to get in 20+ grams of protein in!
My Nutrition Tip to you: Have this protein shake as a quick balanced breakfast or a snack mid-morning or mid-afternoon. Honestly, out of those 3 options I would personally choose which of those meals you slack the most with getting enough protein in (or even enough calories). Hope this helps you!
Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Smoothie

Ingredients:
1 scoop of chocolate protein powder, like Plant Fusion Chocolate or Cookies N Cream
1 TB natural peanut butter (Or use another nut butter of choice)
6-8 oz unsweetened vanilla almond milk, coconut milk, cashew milk or water
1 tsp unsweetened cocoa powder (optional)
3-4 ice cubes
Water, if needed (based on your desired consistency)
Instructions:
Blend all together & enjoy!
Almond Joy Protein Shake

Ingredients:
1 scoop of chocolate protein powder, like Plant Fusion Chocolate or Cookies N Cream
2 TB slivered almonds
2 TB unsweetened shredded coconut flakes or 1/2 cup coconut greek yogurt
6-8 oz unsweetened vanilla almond milk, coconut milk, cashew milk or water
3-4 ice cubes
Water, if needed (based on your desired consistency)
Instructions:
Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. Enjoy!
Blueberry Banana Protein Smoothie

Ingredients:
1 scoop of vanilla protein powder, like Plant Fusion Vanilla
1/4 cup canned coconut milk, full fat or light
1/2 banana, frozen (could use fresh also)
1/2 cup blueberries, frozen (could use fresh also)
6-8 oz unsweetened vanilla almond milk, coconut milk, cashew milk or water
3-4 ice cubes
Instructions:
Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. Enjoy!
TIPS: Before using canned coconut milk, leave it in the fridge overnight or for several hours to thicken. It makes the shake very creamy! Feel free to swap the coconut milk for another healthy fat of choice like flax seeds, nut butter, etc.
